Saturday is for Seminars: The D6 Conference in Frisco, TX
Saturday, 28 January 2012 08:00
Two years ago, I was privileged to speak at the D6 Conference. Based around the Shema and the V'ahavta found in Deuteronomy 6 , D6 is "a Bible-based discipleship strategy leveraging the very best of church and home to help develop life-long Christ followers who disciple others in their communities and around the world."
The conference is once again being held in Frisco, Texas, at the end of September and I am looking forward to being there.
Here are some of the takeaways they discuss on the D6 website:
Our challenge is not that we don't have enough resources to equip parents. Thanks to churches, ministries, authors, and publishers, we now have more effective and intuitive resources than we have ever had before. The problem is that we are not successfully passing faith to the NEXT generation. D6 will give you the theology, philosophy, strategies, and creative methods. It's the one multi-model gathering on family ministry where the body of Christ has the opportunity to hear what Go... d is doing in some of the most innovative family ministries around the country.
I'd love to have you join me at D6. You can find out more about registration here. The price jumps up in March, so if you'd like to go, register now and save some money.
See you in Frisco!
